Christmas Continued in Texas

On the 27th, we took off at 4:30am for the long drive to San Antonio. We were determined to do it in one day! The girls did great and it really wasn't a bad drive. (Not that I want to do it again really soon!) But we even had an unplanned detour to Tulsa, stopped for a leisurely dinner outside of Austin, and still made it in 15 hrs.

The 28th was Nana's bday. The kiddos went in together and got her a spa package. Will she really go? And when she goes, can she really relax? I hope so!

After San Antonio we made it up to Athens where Jim's parents live. At 5pm we watched the Rose Bowl where the Horned Frogs decidedly defeated Wisconsin. Now ranked #2 in the BCS going into next year's season! In light of the game, GG got Jim a present:



















Then we had Christmas #...3? with GG & Da-- I didn't get too many pics of it, but a couple:
