On Sunday night, Jim & I attended a Michael Card concert. If you know me, or if you follow the blog, his music gets frequent mention! I think his lyrics are among the most meaningful words out there as far as Christian music goes. OK, to be honest, I don't like a lot of Christian music. But his creativity enlivens the imagination, so your heart can engage with the Word.
The concert was quite relaxed and "uncut." He played a couple of songs he hadn't even written the endings to yet. Felt like you were sitting in on a rehearsal while he told you what he was thinking about the direction of his new work. He has just finished a commentary on Luke, and his latest CD is called Luke: A World Turned Upside Down.
