"Clarity and deep understanding is the child of its father, obedience. Man would often seek to understand before they obey. To begin to see clearly, I must begin to obey . . . often moving one dutiful foot in front of the other, until the weight of my burdened shoes begin to cause my strength to fail. Then and only then is my full heart more and more accessible for the touch and look of the Father of lightness and care."

I don't know where this quote came from. But... "the Father of lightness"... this caught my attention.
