Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you! I was wondering this morning,
What do you think Jesus is thinking as He watches over our celebrations today?

I love the verse from a hymn we sung today that I hadn't remembered...

Why lies he in such mean estate, where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian, fear; for sinners here, the silent Word is pleading.
Nails, spear, shall pierce him through; the cross be borne for me, for you;
Hail, hail the Word made flesh, the babe, the son of Mary.

What a treasure that Christmas brought forth Easter!

We had a delightful day of yummy food, fun gifts sent by lots of family & friends, meaningful worship, great fellowship, Happy Birthday Jesus cake, The Christmas Story (some of the humor doesn't translate so well into another language!), football...Here are a few of our best pics. Hope you are now enjoying all the wonder and delight and joy of Christmas morning as we have here!

Christmas breakfast...

Love those eager faces!

Lookin' cool and ready for our trip to Thailand next month!

For you non-Asian food lovers, this is a HOT POT. It's a fabulously yummy meal best spent with friends... a soup base to cook whatever you want in it so it does all the work for you!

Merry Christmas to you all!

Daddy says so too...

Happy Birthday Jesus!
