Mom: Mommy's throat is sore. Singing makes mommy's throat hurt worse.
Ellie: Want me to kiss it, momma?
Mom: Oh, thank you. That's all better now.
Ellie: Can you sing us more Christmas songs now, momma?
Mom: I'm sorry sweetie. Mommy's throat is too sore.
Ellie: But I kissed it mommy. Why didn't it work?
