
During the festival, you look at the moon and think of your loved ones far away. The idea is that if we are gazing at the same moon, we must not be that far from each other. Here is Ellie staring at the moon...


Our other Hello Kitty lantern came to a sad demise last time, so we have a "lantern on a plate."

The girls got a kick out of showing their lanterns to our local shopkeeper friends downstairs. I think she was pretty tickled too!
